The Privacy Sanctuary

Your baby's data is sacred. Here's how we protect it.

No tracking pixels. No data brokers. No clever loopholes. The shortest, plainest privacy policy we know how to write.

Encrypted, end to end

Every entry is encrypted on your device before it ever leaves it. Nobody at Nurturly — not even an engineer with the right credentials — can read your timeline.

No selling. Ever.

We don't sell, rent, or share personal data with advertisers, brokers, or third-party analytics. We earn money from Hearth+ subscriptions and nothing else.

Yours to delete

One tap exports everything. One tap deletes everything. We honor it within 24 hours, including any encrypted backups on our servers.

What we collect

We collect only what your family creates: feed logs, sleep timings, diaper entries, milestone notes, and optional photos. We also collect a minimal set of account information — your email address — if you choose to sign in for backups. We do not collect your location, contact list, browsing history, or any data that is not directly related to tracking your baby.

Why we collect it

We collect tracking data so the app works. We collect your email so we can send your encrypted backup to the right place and let you restore it if you get a new phone. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than operating the app you use.

Where it lives

Your data is encrypted on your device before it leaves it. Encrypted backups are stored on servers in the European Union (Ireland). We do not process or store unencrypted data outside your device. Backups are retained as long as your account exists; you can delete them at any time from within the app.

Who we share with

We share your data with no one. We use no third-party analytics, no advertising SDKs, no crash-reporting tools that phone home to external servers. Our only sub-processor is our EU hosting provider, who stores the encrypted blob and cannot read it. If you use Hearth+ shared villages, you share your data explicitly with people you invite — no one else.

Your rights

You have the right to export all your data (one tap, in-app), delete all your data (one tap, honored within 24 hours including backups), correct any account information, and withdraw consent for backup sync at any time. If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

Children's data

Nurturly is an app for parents, used by parents. The data entered concerns infants and young children, but accounts are created and managed by adults. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children. The tracking data you log about your baby is yours — not theirs as users — and is governed by the rest of this policy.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy in a way that reduces your privacy, we will notify you by email before the change takes effect and give you 30 days to export and delete your data before the new policy applies. We will never retroactively apply a more permissive policy to data already collected.
